location of inline fuse landing gear

Own a 2014 voltage 3305. Landing gear issues for a while but last time I think it was due to batteries. Batteries are fully charged trojan t105's.
Motor will not go at all now. I looked for an inline fuse and traced it back to the bus bar in front compartment but can't find one. Do they all have one? Anyone know where it may be hiding?
Thanks so much

You failed to mention the type of gear you have (hydraulic or electric)... but the link below will take you to a thread that deals with these issues.

For my hydraulic 6-point system, scroll down to post #28 to see photos of mine. Others may be similar.

Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.

Thanks for the info. Mine is electric. One motor to run the two legs. I am getting no noise out of it at all now. I can't find a fuse. I did trace the red wire back to the bus bar I see in some photos in the thread you posted. My trailer is in storage and was going to tow home to winterize but could not obviously. I will get my compressor and head back and do it on site but would like to figure the landing gear issue.

If you can get to the switch, see if it is working.

I will take my multi meter and check switch and also look for resets on the bus bars if I can get to trailer today

mine had a switch connection that rusted off. Due to their high quality.

Mine has no resets on the side of the bar and no inline fuse. Was thinking of running jumper cables of the truck direct to motor to see if it is done.
Took my batteries out for storage.

Ok remember… it might not be a fuse, but a breaker like this:

Mine didn’t have any “reset button” on it either… so I just replaced it.

You just remove it from the bus-bar by removing the nuts holding it on. One side has a gold post, the other silver. When you remove it, keep in mind which side goes where. You can find these breakers at almost any auto parts store.

Thanks for this post. Mine has 6 of these in the bus bar. I take it I just trace the wire from motor to find the proper one? Do these go bad often? Appreciate it .

I would assume so... but again, remember mine is hydraulic, so I follow the wire from the pump.

In my case, it's that large diameter red wire coming into the bus from the right-side in the middle, with a blue crimp-cover on the terminal. Just remove the 2 nuts from the posts... remove the breaker... replace with a new one (ensuring the gold post is on the left)... replace the nuts... and all was well.

OH.. and ensure you get the correct amperage breaker. It should be stamped on the one you removed.

I've only had to do it once since I bought the rig new in 2013.

Thanks so much. I am in Canada so I will give Auto Value a shot for the breaker. Don't mind having an extra if this is not the problem. Trailer is stored but I am a stubborn SOB so I would like to figure it out soon.

Mine had a loose connection behind the switch. Pull the 4 screws out and pull the switch out of the wall. You should see a bundle of taped ( or heatshrinked) wires attached to the switch. Depress the switch in either direction while moving the wires around and see if it starts working. That's how I found my problem.

I pulled the switch last week and cut the heat shrink wrap but all wires and connections were in tact. I will try the motor off the battery cables next.
Thanks

Thanks

Hi all.
Made my way over to storage yesterday to take a look at my landing gear motor and issue. I disconnected the motor wires and ran them via battery cables to the truck while it was running. Motor did not turn or make a sound. Safe to assume it is done?
Thanks

it usually is a resettable fuse close to the gear unless ALL the gear are not working.

Mine does not have any inline fuse. I have the breaker that others have pointed out . With power from running truck battery and motor not turning i figured it was burnt out?? Just not sure.
