Staying Cool

We will be site camping in our 2007 Dutchmen 26 DSL this weekend temps may go over 100. Any recommendations on staying cool and not straining the AC unit? Looking for ideas.

Park in the shade as much as possible, use fans to move the air around. Don't expect miracles when it comes to the RV a/c. Accept the fact you may not be able to get it below 80° inside until after the sun goes down.

Cool it down early in the AM then it's easier on the units when the sun gets up. Keep windows covered, blinds down on sun side and awning out early. And enjoy!
