Simple A/C fix for silly ducting problem.
In our TT, there is an A/C vent within about two to three feet from the thermostat. Our first time out in the spring, we were wondering why the A/C would run for about twenty minutes and only be off for about five before switching back on again. The thermostat even showed the temperature dropping and then climbing. It took a minute to realize that the hockey puck diffuser was blowing on the thermostat, even with it being closed down as far as it would go.
To correct this, we made a deflector out of clear vinyl. The deflector is half-circle shaped and mounted to the diffuser. While the A/C runs a bit longer now, the recycling time is also extended as the TT temperature is actually closer to the indicated temperature on the thermostat.
