Unhappy Outside Fridge

Does anyone know if you can replace the "dorm style" fridge in the outside cook center with a 3 way fridge that will run off of propane for dry camping?

Thanks.
Dave.

Re: Outside Fridge

The only problem I see would be venting the 3 way fridge. It needs lots a room above, to remove the heat generated by the fridge, to work properly.

What about installing an Inverter for the Dorm fridge? Of course, depending on how long you dry camp, you may have to add a battery bank

Re: Outside Fridge

Site Admin,
Thanks for posting that obvious answer. I know there is a vent above the refrigerator, but have been thinking about opening up the cabinetry above the refrigerator for some extra stowage room, always looking. Yes, you caused me to do the slap to the side of the head. I sure don't want to mess with that vent system. Its the obvious that befuddles me, sometimes. ;-)
