How to operate furnace on cub hybrid

Hey there! We just purchased a 2007 aerolite cub hybrid. Upgraded from a popup. I have no clue how to winterize this. But at the moment my issue is I have no heat..but I have hot water. It didn't come with manual and the one I downloaded has not much info. The previous owner never used the heater. I know it's self igniting. Thought maybe the thermostat was bad .however when we disconnected the wires to thermostat and put them together..nothing happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Possible:
Blown Fuse
Disconnected
Loose or corroded wire
Defective furnace
Defective sail switch

Post complete make and model of furnace for better advice.

When wall thermostat is "off", there should be 12 volts across the two thermostat wires. If not, then no power to furnace.

Thanks for responding. I've attached pics of model and furnace. I'm trying to find the remote switch. I've looked everywhere

The picture shows a "water heater", not a furnace.

6 gallon with electronic ignition.

On the inside of the RV, does the furnace look like a square grill like shown in Persistent's post #5 link? if so, all you'll see from the outside is a small metal plate with one or two circular exhaust vents. Maybe has "HOT" stamped into it. Nothing really to access from the outside.

Furnace outside ports.

Take a flashlight and shine into those ports and check for wasp or insect nests. If you see some buildup Try and clear and use compressed air to blow out. you need good air flow before the sail switch in the furnace will let the gas flow and igniter to work,
