Furnace looses communication on shore power

Hello,
I have 2017 Coleman lantern 285bh 18k btu furnace. I Leave it at my hunt camp in the winter connected to shore power. I turn the thermostat off when I leave for the week and sometimes when I get back and turn the thermostat on I get a E1 code. I can usually fix this by unplugging the thermostat wires in the AC unit for several minutes. The last time I went I had the same problem and it worked again to clear the E1 code, however this time the furnace fan would run then nothing. I unplugged the shore power, no change. Unhooked the battery with the shore power unplugged waited 10 minutes, hooked up the battery and worked flawlessly all weekend. I'm thinking power being supplied for long periods of time is the issue leading me to believe the control board in the furnace is my problem. Anyone run into this? Thanks

Furnace

Does it run on gas, and is there propane in your tank?

Would you know if you had a power failure while you were gone?

Check your circuit board if its installed in a FLAT position. There was a problem with some Atwoods where water from heavy rain could get into the panel and short out the circuit board.

I caught mine before it permanently shorted the circuit board. I fixed it by raising the board at the front so it would be at a angle where any water would run off and it would not sit in a puddle of water.
If your board is already at a angle and no water intrusion then not your problem
