Dometic thermostat showing E1 code

We have a 2016 Voltage 3805, which we took to South Dakota for a week. The AC worked great the entire time we were there, but when we got home, we started seeing an E1 error code on the 3 button thermostat in the living area. We are running it off the generator at this time. Anyone know what that means and how to fix it? The AC won't run at all now.

My 3905 showed that E1 error code on our first outing. It would not run off of the generator. My buddy asked if I had checked the generator breakers. I asked "what breakers"? He lifted the generator cover and there are two 30 amp breakers next to the start button.

One had tripped.

I don't know if that could be your problem but it takes only a minute to check. Unless you are hooked to your truck and can't get to the generator easily.

Good Luck
Arlan

The breakers in the generator were not tripped. I wish that had been the answer! Thanks for the response though.

Dometic thermostat showing E1 code

Have you tried just shutting everything off and starting over. Did you check the other circuit breakers also.

Yes, we checked all the other circuit breakers. We just shut everything off. We'll try it again in the morning. I sent an email to customer service at the dealership. Maybe they'll know what to do!

Not meaning to steal the post, but a quasi-related question regarding the living room (Zone 1) A/C on a 2015 3990. I want to clean the filters in my three A/C units. The one in the garage and the bedroom have the "dump" and unit attached to the ceiling where the filters are. My living room only has the twist "puck" vents, which possibly explains why that area never gets as cold as the other two. There are also two heat/cold air air type vents, maybe 6" x 12" up there but they don't look like they have filters behind them, although I have yet to pull them down. Filter on the roof? Anyone have the same? Thanks
Rusty

Thanks Tom, but that's not the same thermostat. I will figure out how to post a picture of it. Maybe someone will know what kind it is. We looked at all the paper work from the dealership, but there's nothing that tells us what model this trailer has!

I believe that looks like one my freind had. took us forever to figure out the E1 code, his backup battery in it had died. Don't know if it is your exact model.

I finally found what I think is the owners manual for this one online, but it doesn't give any info on what to do once a code shows up! We may have to take it in to get fixed. That's a pain since we live 6 hours away from the dealership! Do you remember where the back up battery is located? This is a brand new unit, so we're surprised to have a problem so soon after we bought it.
