Ways to connect grey water tanks?

I have a 2020 Coleman Lantern 202RDWE and my sink backed up with Grey tank 1 showing it's full.

Didn't make sense to me that there is no overflow pipe for water to equalize or go to grey tank 2 since it drains into a single pipe to dump.

Any ideas to connect the two. My unit has foam cover to see the piping underneath the chassis.

Some owners put an additional gate valve on the common drain. Close new valve and open other gates. Water equalizes. If you are careful, you can get grey water to flow into black tank as well.

The extra gates are available on line. They attach the same as the stinky slinky.

I permanently added a main valve to the dump connection, you can backwash the black tank with the full gray tank to loosen some more crap up when dumping or equalize gray tanks.

Cool. Also researched the internet and found a twist-on valve for easy installation.

Indeed, I'll be watchful. I would see my own cap detached too -- although after a bit of a travel.

Little trick for twist off valves is to hit the tabs with a hot glue gun all around. Easy to do amd keeps the surprise disconnect from happening. By the way, it is also easy to remove the hot glue when one starts to leak. Good luck.

That tip will be useful and I will in fact do that.

If I had the twist on valve I would not travel with it installed. If you do travel with it installed make sure the valve handle side is pulling it into the locked position, not trying to disconnect it.

Good suggestion too as I have a transparent adapter to see if tanks are totally empty and I might need only to equalize the content of grey tanks when one is full.
