Upgraded sewer hose

The dealer suggested I get an upgraded sewer hose. It's one of the fancy rubber ones with the nice end connections. It was $100. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to debate so I bought it. Wondering if it will be worth it or if I should return it? Thanks, JC

Hmmmm..... Sewer connections and emptying......the great dark side of TTing.
Have you used regular sewer hose? The faster, nicer connections may save you a less than happy time when leaving your camp site. Keep rubber gloves and hand sanitizer at the ready....'Nuf said.
We use the brown expandable hoses, which can be adjusted to length.....whichever ones you use, keep a can of WD40 with you at all times, and spray all the connections before and after use. This makes them MUCH easier to connect (fully!!) and to disconnect (cleanly).
Also get yourself the expandable supports that go under the hose so that it will always be faced gradually downhill with no low spots.
