San T Flush problem

I am brand new to owning a trailer and am concerned when I attempted to clean out one of my black water tanks on my 2016 aerolite 319bhss. It has 2 toilets and the one in the back seemed to work correctly. When I hooked a hose up to the front bathroom it did not seem to work.

A noise behind the entry closet can be heard....almost like a pump turned on but nothing was turned on. No water was coming out the sewer out when the black water nozzle was pulled wide open. Instead I "think" it filled the fresh water tank. When I opened the valves for the fresh water tank the water drizzled out but when I turned the water pump on it had quite a bit more pressure. This is something else I don't understand.

Anyway, I hope this is a simple fix and hope this makes sense to someone. I was very excited to own my first trailer but want to get it all dialed. Thank you in advance for the help.

I have a San T Flush on my camper as well. It's a pretty simple system. Connection outside goes through check valve inside and into tank. I'd try to find that check valve and make sure it's ok.It shouldn't be too hard to empty all your tanks, hook up a hose to that San T valve and see which tank fills up. I've heard on sites like this of people who have gotten campers with the plumbing not done right for sure. If your under warranty I'd get it right back in there!
A final note, although I have the San T Flush, after 3 years I stopped using it and switched to a flush King. IMO it does a much better job.

Sounds like you were hooked up to the fresh water connection. The connection should be labeled, what did it say? And what was the one in the back labeled? It's unlikely you have two black tanks, and two santi-flush connections. Both bathrooms drain to one tank.
