Leaking septic

So my rebuild is slowly coming to the end. Winter is here in Canada and I decided to drain my tanks. I know that there was urine in there( the neighbors kids confessed to a break in. ) nothing there. Tank must be leaking. What are you using to stop leaks

Have you seen a leak or are you assuming you have a leak?

The kids took a leak in your tank, maybe it evaporated, or maybe they just didn't add enough liquid to reach the drain in the tank.
If you think you have a leak put some water in it and see for sure.

I don’t want to add water. I am looking a product to put on my tank so it will not leak

unless it was done recently, I agree with SD, it probably evaporated out or there was not enough to be able to drain. Add some water then see if it leaks (for a day or so) then drain the tank. I don't know of a "stop leak" that would be made for an RV black or Gray tank.

Good luck!

There are few guarantees in this world. So any "stop leak" material is a flip of a coin in my opinion. And for a black water tank probably not a good idea.

I also would add water and observe. assuming a typical installation. If you had a leak it would probably not leak in a area that would cause big problems. Except for your underlayment liner.

Good Luck.

Your tanks are vented to the roof. They will evaporate any liquid in small quantities.

You're in PEI so not real cold yet, But I'm assuming you will winterize your rig with RV antifreeze? That stuff is cheap. Run through system and add extra through toilet in to black tank. If it leaks out, you have a crack. No leak means the pee evaporated.
Not much chance of a liquid fix for a cracked tank. That'll be a remove and replace. Hope you don't have to do that. Good luck!

simple leak fix

Recently a good friend asked me to help fix his tank leak. He had banged a bush when parking and broke the tank connection. Most tanks have a replaceable fitting at the tank that is cheap and easy to fix. We were able to replace the fitting for a few bucks, but had to use some plumbing skills to make the new parts all fit.

Hope this is helpful.
