is my pump done?

2014 Voltage 3305 toyhauler
Rig is in storage. When I winterized in October the pump would not turn on at all. Fuse in panel is fine. I didn't worry about it as I was storing and thought I would deal with it sometime in 2021.

Thinking of getting trailer out in a month or so weather depending and will have to deal with this eventually although I will probably camp with rig winterized as is.

Is there another inline fuse somewhere in these rigs? Any idea what this could be?
I am prepared to order a new pump and I know these are somewhat generic but asking here first.

Of note, on our last trip out the pump ran for a longer amount of time after faucet was shut off. Drawing air? Maybe just worn out.

Thanks

If it runs on after the faucet is shut not enough pressure against the switch to open it. Could be an air leak on the output side somewhere in the system.
Get a new pump anyway, always a spare is good to have on hand.
You may find a wiring problem also but you'll come across that when you change the pump. Pay particular attention to any crimp connections created by the blind installers.

Good point. Blind installers at best sometimes!!!!!! Figured I would order a new one as they are reasonably cheap.

You might pull the small 'canister-looking' screen/filter housing in the inlet side of your pump and check it for cracks. Mine was cracked, which allowed the pump to suck air.

I am betting your pump is done. If it ran long before and now doesn’t run at all I think not an air leak. Possibly electrical such as a bad ground but I vote for bad pump.

Thanks all. I was doubtful of an air leak also as the pump does not even turn on. The light is on when the switch is engaged but no sound so thinking about a hidden fuse or pump is pooched . In storage but looking to ty to get fixed in a month so may just order one.

If you have a meter or test light, check for power at pump. That will eliminate a blown fuse and narrow down if the pump is bad.
