grey and black levers

We just purchased a 2022 Dutchmen Yukon 421FL and wanted to dump the grey tank as using the shower quite often. Neither the silver or black handle are labeled. Salesperson months ago told my husband silver was for grey water and black for for black waste.....SO WRONG!!! we opened the grey handle to drain water into our grove, OMG big mistake... After scouring the internet, manuals and forums we have been unable to find any schematic or instructions that tell us which handle is for what. does anyone have that information

Didn't you find the answer when all the black tank fluid drained in your grove? Thinking the other one must be the grey! Unscrew the handles and switch them.

The way to tell which one is Grey and which one is Black is to look at the size of the drain pipes on each. The larger drain pipe is always the Black valve dump.

My gray and black both go into a 3” pipe and you can’t see the valves their up above the covering on the bottom of my trailer. Probably going to have to dump at a dump station and use a clear 90 to see what’s happening. Your rig might not be the same somebody else’s because they have cables going from the handle to the valve, could easily be different.

Perhaps the best thing is you dumped in your grove. Many of us don’t have a grove.
