I have a 2018 Voltage 3605. I noticed on a trip a small drip around the PVC pipe of the dump valve (pictured). I have tried Flex Glue, JB Water Weld and silicone. All continue to leak. I used my flexible camera and see that on the inside my sealant has pulled away.
Does anyone have any great ideas on how to seal this up?
Pretty sure I have a similar leak somewhere in my fresh water tank too. Mine only leaks when pretty full then stops so not sure exactly where it is but since it is fresh water and very small I have decided to leave it alone for now.
As far as your fix goes I am not really sure. I probably would try that putty designed for pipes that says you can use underwater. I probably would have tried the stuff you already did too.
Yeah that's where I'm at with mine. It's the second fresh water tank, so it only leaks when I fill up both tanks. No problem at all when the first tank is full.
I haven't tried Flex Tape yet...not hopeful but certainly worth buying a roll to have around even if it doesn't work.
A good friend of mine owns a body shop
Awhile back he showed me his plastic welder
It’s uses heat like a soldering iron with different
Tips it’s not expensive.and works very well
With holes and tears In plastic bumpers and such.
Hope this helps. All our best central FLA
There is a two part epoxy sold at auto parts stores. It comes in a black ribbon and a white ribbon. You clean the area as much as possible then cut equal parts of the epoxy. Mix together until an even gray color then apply to the area. It will set up when wet. It even sets up in the presence of gasoline. I have used this before on auto plastic fuel tanks and it worked very well.
