Denali 311 black tank valve

So today my black tank valve stopped working. Wouldn't close all of the way so I figured something was stuck in it. Moved it in and out to try to break up whatever it was preventing it from fully closing. Then all of a sudden it released. Actuator goes in and out super easy compared to before and I ran some clean water through to test it but now it doesn't hold water. Has this happened anybody else? Any idea what kind of design the actuator is? How hard is it to get at the valve? Thanks, JC

Well, I managed to get into the underbelly without cutting it. I went in from both sides. If you undo enough of the bolts holding it in place you can actually squeeze in far enough to get at it. Mind you, it's a good thing I've lost weight recently because it was a tight fit. Not a big fan of these cable actuated valves though. I'd much rather a hard connection. I'll post back when it's fixed.
