Bathtub support missing?

Looking under my bathtub I see a large gap between the bottom of my tub and the aluminum supports. Shouldn't there be a shim of sorts in there? Looks like a piece of wood attached to the far left but not where the braces are and not touching anything.

My tub in my 3990 is similar. Also shimmed (although not the way I would have done it).

Rusty, mine is not shimmed at all. You got a pic of yours? There is at least a 2" gap from the bottom of tub to aluminum crossbar. Pic is hard to tell i know.

RV isn't at the house so no pictures. I saw it when I was fixing a tiny leak behind the fireplace when I first got the RV. Tub supported by aluminum support and a 1x4 piece of pine jammed between the support and the bottom of the tub. Ironically, no flex in the tub, so I let it be. It hasn't moved in 3 years, so either it's jammed in there pretty well or they may have taken a moment an glued it into place.
