OK, so I've got a 2014 Voltage Epic 3800. Its got a very nice Kenwood stereo mounted in the Garage. Next to the radio are two switches.
One for the speakers in the Garage and one for the speakers in the Outside TV Cabinet.
But none in the Living area...wouldn't one want to listen to some music in the Living area?
Above the TV in the Living Area is a Sony home theatre sound bar. The sound bar does have a Bluetooth mode.
The Kenwood stereo also has a Bluetooth mode.
So we tried to get them paired. Sound bar is trying like the dickens to connect. The Kenwood says it is trying to pair too. But nothing is happening.
So dig into the books for both, and talk to Kenwood customer support. Well...the Kenwood has a USB Bluetooth cord and plugged into is a JVC KS-UBT1 Bluetooth Adapter.
OK, but the Sony sound bar calls for an A2DP protocol Bluetooth adapter. I'm in San Diego, so I go to Frys Electronics and with a lot of excellent help...I get one. Its a naxa NAB-4003
Get back to the rig, plug it in to the Bluetooth cable on the Kenwood, plug in my iPod, fire it up. Turn on the Sony sound bar, and change the input to BT AU...Bluetooth automatic pair. The sound bar pairing light is flashing.
The Kenwood isn't doing anything...the Bluetooth menus are grayed out.
Finally figure out the Kenwood isn't recognizing the naxa NAB-4003 adapter.
So I ask...does anyone have their Sony sound bar Bluetooth paired to the stereo in the Garage...and thus able to listen to music in the Living Area of the Toyhauler?
Thanks,
Pirate
