Satellite Cable

Just purchased a 2014 Kodiak 241RBSL. Trying to find where the satellite cable terminates inside the camper. None of the manuals cover anything regarding the cable tv and satellite wiring. Any suggestions?

Do you have aTV antenna on the roof?

If you do and you are talking about hooking up a cable or sat to the input on the side of the trailer, then you are using the same wiring for both.

Look for a wall plate (mine is in the bedroom) that has a push button on it. On and it is sending power to your antenna. Off and the cable/sat signal passes through the cable.

On the outside are two cable connections. One says cable the other says satellite. The cable one is the one going to the wall plate that you use the push button to swap between antenna and cable. The one labeled satellite is the one I can't find where it goes.

Isn't it great, we get wonderfull owners manuals when you buy a trailer.

So have you hooked your sat up to to the sat port?

Is it possible that there is splitter combining the sat and cable.

If that's not it then???????

Contact Dutchmen ask for a wiring diagram for the Sat/Antenna, also Electrical.

In my 242RESL everything is joined together in the cupboard for the hot water heater. I would be tempted to open cupboards and areas common to something else. My Tv hides in a bigger cupboard when travelling and the power amplifier off the antenna is in the cavity below it. Good luck searching .

Well, finally found it. Got determined even if I had to take the camper apart. Believe it or not the TV outlet in the bedroom is the cable marked satellite on the outside of the camper...makes no sense to me but at least I know where it is now.
