Powered by Xantrex Inverter

Hi, just purchased by first travel trailer. A Kodiak 289BHSL. Behind the TV there is a 110 outlet that has a sticker on it that says "Powered by Xantrex Inverter". I assumed this would mean that there is an inverter somewhere that converts 12v to 110v for the TV to work when not connected to shore power or a generator. Is this an incorrect assumption? When I disconnected shore power I lost power to that outlet.

Could be inverter is bad, shut off, circuit breaker off? Could also be that inverter may only power a specific outlet or maybe fridge Inverters, unless you have a large one with corresponding batteries, rarely power all the outlets.

The OP said the outlet was labeled as inverter powered.

Most likely, inverter is "off". Check inverter's Owner's manual for switches, circuit breaker resetting, and fuses. There is probably a "troubleshooting" section in the manual.

Manual can probably be found on-line if you don't have one.

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!

If only it were true

There is no inverter, I had the same question and the dealership sent me the build sheet on mine and told me that it is "inverter ready" but no mention was made of a ready package on the build sheet despite listing a solar ready package. And where is the sticker stating that it is powered by renogy solar panels even though it's not. And, is the sticker that says GFCI protected really just GFCI ready? An inverter would be nice but the dealership needs to make money too.
