Power to awning switch issue
New member here. Just found this forum today while researching the following issue. I have a 2010 Coleman 24RB-SL and the awning motor stopped working. It's a Carefree of Colorado unit. With the TT power I do get 12 volts at the switch input. But when the motor is connected, there is no voltage to the awning in the retract or extent positions and the motor does not turn. When I disconnect the motor, the motor wires will read the corresponding 12 polarity for retract or extend. This occurs with the AC power attached to the TT and on battery(fully charged and new) only. However, when I provide an alternate 12v power source to the awning switch power input terminals, the motor works as expected. My slide out works perfectly with AC plugged in and on battery only. I can't seem to locate where the power source connects to the switch input wires. This is baffling me. Any tips are most welcomed! Thanks everyone.
