Just purchased a new Aerolite 242BHS. I can turn on and off the porch light with the remote no problem. However the physical switch on the control panel doesn't do anything; doesn't turn them on or off. Am I missing something, or possibly something wrong and I need to get it fixed?
I think I read somewhere that if you use the remote, in effect you override the physical control panel.
Can't remember the routine for handing control from one method to the other.
Regardless, there is a chance you don't have a malady, but rather a quirk.

I think that if you turn off the light with the remote, then the inside switch will work as it should. I had the same problem a couple of years ago and had to contact the dealer's service department for a solution.
