Outside Stereo on 3990

Got my 3990 home safe and sound. Spent the afternoon sanitizing, familiarizing, and playing. Other than some little things, I think I got away without any major malfunctions, although I don't want to curse myself. Going to need a lot of help from guys like Aaron and Cale to name a few. 1st question is how do I turn off the power to what I believe is to the stereo to the left of the front door? Just the blue background lights around the round control. I never even got to mess with the stereo, so I don't know why it's on. Shut off all the switches I think, although I left the unit still plugged into the 50 amp outlet. Exhausted and going to bed. Hopefully an answer tomorrow. Thanks in advance.
Rusty

The outside stereo control does not have an on/off as far as I know. Mine has always been on. Enjoy learning your new trailer.

There a couple of guys on here that found ways to turn the power on and off on a 3950 - I will be doing this mod as well. nit sure if it would be the same for the 3990 - but it was behind a false panel in the pantry - the wire was located - one added a switch, one connected it to the switched blue wire on the stereo head unit.

On mine (3905) the radio is in the toy hauler and I can turn mine off by pushing and holding the off button in until it turns off completely . Hope this helps.

My stereo also had this prob. If you push the "off" button it only sleeps.... but if you hold the "off" button for a few seconds it turns off completely. Maybe try that first. I do also have a switch off my battery that I can kill ALL power if I want also. Good luck and happy trails!
