Electrical problems?

Hello All,
I am having problems with my 12 volt system not working. Here is the background. I had a short in my shore power 120v. I have replaced the cord. I now have 120v going into the circuit panel (I know because the main switch will shut off the ceilng fan and micro). The 12 volt side of the panel does not appear to have any power going to it. I have checked all the fuses on the 120 and 12 volt and all appear to be ok.
When I would usually plug in to shore power, I could hear the fan kick on for the power converter/charger. That is not happening.

I was wondering if there are any fuses between the batteries and the fuse panel? The batteries are dead from no charging. None of the 12v items work (lights, refer, water pump).

Can somone tell me where the converter/charger is located on these units? I have a 28ft Denali 5th wheel with 2 slide outs. I assume it might be under the TV - behind the fuse panel? But I would have to pull off the molding to get to it and I would prefer to be sure before I do so? This is where the fan cover is?

The inverter in the Voltage is in the basement behind a panel that says to remove said panel to access the electrics there.

In addition, there are two inline fuses from the battery in the generator compartment, again in the Voltage.

You might check the battery compartment with your VOM first and then hunt for the converter. It probably has a blown fuse due to your shore power problem.

Thank you for your input. The model I have is a 28rl. It doesn't have a generator (although I wish I did, It's a much lessor model). I did take your advice though. I traced the cables as far as I could and didn't see any in line fuses. I pulled off the face cover of the circuit panel and found the converter in the bottom of the panel (to my surprise and happiness ).
I was able to test the 120v side of the converter and found power on that side. When I tested the other side I was not able to get a reading on any power output. I didn't see any fuses on the invertor since it is mostly solid state. So it appears the converter may be bad. I assume????? Of course looking at the all the wiring, they sure could have made the accessibility a little easier. Going to have to have a good nights sleep to tackle this one.

Thanks again,
Jim
