Cable TV "fuzzy"

Hi all, we have a 2014 Kodiak 240BHSL. It came with one TV installed in the main living area and with cable hooked up the picture on the TV is pretty good. I recently installed another TV in the bedroom and put a splitter in the cable TV connection to hook up both TV's. Now they both look terrible. Any idea's on how I can fix this?
BTW, if I remove the splitter and go back to a single TV it's fine again.
Thanks!

Is it possible your splitter isn't up to the task? My trailer had similar fuzzy pictures when I went to satellite. Turns out the splitters weren't up to the task; their frequency was too low. I got a couple of higher frequency splitters and the tv's worked fine. Your splitters may be fine for antenna tv but need to be upgraded for cable.

Thanks for the reply, I know nothing about this so learning........ I guess I'll head over to Radio Shack and look for a high frequency splitter.

I had to change several of the cable end connectors on mine and cleared everything up - bought a "Data Shark" kit with extra connectors from HD and it was so easy, I ended up changing a lot of them in my house as well.
