This may seem like a crazy question...
I have a 2008 Dutchmen Kodiak Diesel Class C. I can not find the Engine Battery? The Engine Battery is dead and I nee dot charge it and I can not find the damn thing... This is embarrassing... Can I get a suggestion on where to look? Much Appreciated.
The engine start battery is possibly under the front hood of the truck. I assume you have looked there already.
Some times they are installed near the house battery bank. Look in storage bays. Again I assume you know where they are. You may just need to identify which is the start battery and which is the house 12 volt system battery.
Thanxs... That is just it... I expected it to be in the engine compartment, or with the house battery...But no luck, I have almost stripped the unit still can not find it... So strange.
I know your predicament. I bought a Cadillac and also couldn't find the battery. It was under the rear seat.
In your RV's case, have you looked under the steps to the house? Seen plenty of batteries there. Also, and it's usually Class B's but under the driver floorboard.

Check under the passenger side steps. There may be a bolt on each side that you have to take out to slide the batteries out. That's where they were in an early 200x Jayco my grandparents used to have, same Chevy chassis though I think.
Check the chassis manufacturer's web site, ie Ford, GMC, Ram etc for the specific model and engine. D3500 etc. Often located in a black plastic housing.
