XtraRide
I have seen a few posts from members who have had good luck using XtraRide extended warranty coverage. Where are these repair folks that are willing to work with them? I had my main AC compressor go bad, and could not find anyone willing to work with them, much less any extended warranty program - they say they take way too long to get paid if they do at all.

Good morning. I've had nothing but good luck with XtraRide when I had my Voltage. In fact when my factory warranty expires on my 38MB, I'm going back to them. While I didn't have a ton of repair claims, maybe 5, I never had a hard time getting repairs. I used mobile mechanics in West Palm Beach, a dealership there, and two dealerships near my house in Chicago. None of them ever complained about slow pay. Sorry you're having a hard time.

This was my first experience needing them. Hopefully I won't again, but I'm sure it is inevitable. I've decided to call all over to see who does work with them before I have another issue and compile a list.

XtraRide
Never been a fan of General RV, but they said yesterday that they do work with XtraRide - gonna give them a try as I have the main slide making popping noises when extending and retracting. I have an appointment with them in about 3 weeks - fingers crossed.
I took it to them 5 years ago for warranty work and they repaired everything except one item, another item failed again shortly after they returned it and they also filled my waste tanks and left them full for me to discover froze solid during the winter.

Been to General (Huntley Illinois) once when I first bought my Voltage. Didn't initially want to do my warranty repair punch list because I didn't buy from them. Did finally do the work. All done satisfactorily.

Got the rig back on Monday. It was a circus getting the slide repaired due to Lippert/Schwintek not having part numbers. General RV had to make drawings and send them in so they could be matched up. They did the repairs and everything is working well. As was expected, dealing with the staff there left much to be desired. Since September when I took it in, they went thru 4 service writers/representatives and communication was bad...
Xtra Ride came thru. Repairs were in excess off $2600 and I paid a total of $263

Glad to see you back on the road. I too can only have good things to say about XtraRide on the few claims I had on my last RV. Re-signed with them on my new Riverstone also.
