What to do with replaced parts

Over the last year, I replaced the single step on my TT with a double and the manual tongue jack with an electric one...
The parts I removed are brand new.. any ideas what to do with the old parts?? I hate to just trash them..

We had a yard sale last year and I set out a bunch of old RV stuff among the usual yard sale offerings. Stuff that had been setting in the shed for years. Sold it all including a plastic Thetford toilet that I removed from our old bumper pull. Go figure..??..

Craigslist does work, just be careful on the exchange of money and information.

Our local police station has a couple of parking spots reserved for purchase transactions like this. A neutral location that is recorded (may not be watched 24/7, but recorded at least).

Even if you're not concerned about physical danger, folks have been known to use these transactions as casing opportunities.

I agree with Chily3, watch the money,, we live in Tucson and when having a yard sale we have to have several helpers as stuff will walk off quite easily, plus the funny money,, my father who was 80 at the time sold a refrigerator to some people from across the border for 70 bucks, was given a 100 dollar bill and gave them 30 bucks change,, goes to the bank and the 100 was funny money,, we kept telling him to look for the stripe etc in the money but cant teach that old dog a new trick so he was out a fridge and 30 bucks...
