A friend of mine recently bought a TT from a different manufacturer but its the exact same layout as my 299BHS. Instead of the uncomfortable jackknife sofa in the back, he has what looks more like a a folded mattress that makes a bed by just unfolding. I have no idea what this is called and am really interested. I know I have given a terrible description but maybe someone will understand what I'm saying.
I know exactly what you are referring to, basically just two pads sewn in the middle that flip over each other to form a couch, or pulled apart to form a mattress. I have seen them on Forest River models. They call it a Surveyor Lounger.
