Question What are these parts for

I have my new Dutchmen Astoria 3553 MBP and in the picture attached are parts that no one can identify.

Not the dealer and not the Manufacturer.

I sent them the picture and although the MFG possibly identified the bolts they guessed they go to eh gas bottles. they don't.

SO there is my dilemma.

Any ideas group?????

Could it be for the range hood vent? My SWAG only.

So fitting that neither the manufacturer nor dealer can identify. I like the guess about the range hood vent. I have no better guess.

Certainly looks like the bracket and attaching hardware for a range hood vent. But is that not instructions in one of the bags? what do they say?

What microwave is in the trailer, looks exactly like parts from a microwave with vent hood option. Depending on how it was set up these would be excess parts.

I think the range hood is a good answer. Replacement after the kitchen fire maybe ?

The items in the small packet on the left appear to be for hanging something on the wall. The items in the picture are of an expandable "nut" after inserting through a hole in the wall. There are paper items in the packet on the right, have you looked in there for installation instructions? Also, a picture of the front and back of the item in the box would be helpful.

@ Delaware Dan, Furion makes much of the electronics in the RV industry. I wonder if that is a housing or sleeve for your stereo/radio/tuner?

See if your radio is about that size. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if the manufacturer just shoved the radio in an opening without using the housing.

Oh, sorry I misunderstood—upon rereading you are saying your microwave is a Furion and not that “Furion” is labeled on that part. I am probably wrong—sorry.

No Doubt

Those are installation bolts for a hood or microwave to be used if there are no structural supports to hold the appliance in place. The appliace came with regular bolts as well which would be the first choice if possible. The big washers are used to hold the appliance up against an upper cabinet, again only if it was needed. They are leftovers, you can discard them.

The rectangular part is a vent duct baffle. If your microwave has a vent built in, and vents to the outside, then you use this to prevent air from coming in through the vent. The same is true for your range hood, so it would be used on one or the other, whichever is over the cooktop and vents to the outside. If your vent has a baffle built into the exterior cap, a rectangular piece you will see outside the trailer above your cooktop, then this baffle would not be used. Again, probably leftover part they didn't need to leave for you to puzzle over.

The last bag I can't tell what is inside, but more than likely the same issue. I have installed many of these appliances and leaving the spare parts around causes confusion so bad move on Keystone's part, but in their defense, they hire unqualified/ inexperienced workers so what can you expect. Can't get good help these days...
