Weight distribution

Is anyone haveing issues with their wt dist system? I have the Komfort 3050QB which comes in at about 9000lbs. Tounge wt at around 900lbs. We are towing with a 2011 F250. I have the 1200lbs bars-which I think are the heaviest, but I can't seem to get my trucks butt up to where it should be(levelish). The trailer is pretty much level(to my liking). My chains snap brackets seem to want to move around so I secured them with large screws on the outside and the set screw on the inside. They are bending the bracket out word. I have followed all the installation recommendations, is this bending normal? What do you use for wt dist And how well does it work? I tried to search the topic and couldn't come up with anything.
Thank for reading.

What is your tow vehicle and how many links are you taking up in the chains? Also what brand of hitch?

The 1200# bars are on the heavy side for that setup.

Do you have a set of the manufacturers directions? Double check everything.

IIRC Reese uses a clamp down bolt on the inside of the frame rail and a smaller pin screw on the outside of the frame to keep the saddle clamps from sliding. It has been a long time since I have messed with a Reese. I currently have Equalizer and Eaz-Lift systems.

On my F350 I don't use any WDH with the Coleman when towing my 31' Airstream I might. With the F150 we use 800# bars with the AS and 500# (lightest I could find) with the Coleman. We use the Eaz-Lift on the Coleman and the Equalizer on the Airstream.

Coleman has TW ~400# GW 3800# Airstream TW ~600# GW 7200# but usually is only loaded to ~6200#.

Sounds to me like you need to adjust your hitch height on your truck. You need to raise the hitch on the truck. I would adjust one bolt hole at a time & see where you are at.

I use to have a 32 ft Jayco bunkhouse bumper pull that weighed 9000 lbs wet and towed it with a 2008 F250 V10 using the Reese WD hitch w/ anti sway cams.

I don't know what weight of bars I had but I would set the chains to where it took all my might to hook up with a cheater bar and still had some sag in the rear end of the truck after adjusting the height of the hitch to get the trailer level. I also bent out a lift bracket after which I backed the chains off one link and never had any other problems with the brackets.

To get rid of the sag I had to install air bags.

I agree with Desert, you probably need to adjust your hitch height on your shank. I am not familiar with your hitch set up when I pulled a TT I used Equal-I-zer. Mainly because it came with the trailer when I bought it. It is a lot more pricey but I had good luck with it and was easy to adjust. Took about an hour to get the hitch height set and the bar height set, but once I got that done it was great.
