Water pump

I own a Dutchman Kodiak Express. While sanitizing the fresh water tank the water pump is spitting more air then usually this year it seems. It has always done this but seem like more this year, it could also be new season ghitters.
I don't have any water leake I can see.
What could be the issue?

spitting out faucets ?? or you hear the sound ??
could be a small leak on the inlet ( tank ) side of the pump sucking air .. check all connections and clean the prefilter if it has one … ther are many nooks and crannys thay hold air ... run water thru both tank and city side … and give it time to push air out

Spitting of course is normal when there is air in pipes from winterization. Continued spitting means air is continuing to be sucked into the pump.

The air can come from a crack in the pump housing, loose or broken fittings, hoses or pipes that have deteriorated. All this has to be on the suction side of the pump.

Let the troubleshooting begin.
