Toilet
Does anyone have a pic of the back of a toilet. Turned water on today, was fine last weekend ,, the water line comes up through the floor then goes into a little round thing, , I believe this sprays water to rinse toilet ? Anyway water is coming out of there like crazy. Can't get my head in there to see all of it. Any help please,

Sounds as if the flush valve is leaking. It could be a loose connection or the valve itself.
Use a mirror and see if you find the source. If it's the connection, possibly a PEX connection, you may be able to stop the leak with a hose clamp. If it's the valve a replacement is needed.

I see the Vice Grips didn't loosen it and I doubt it's left hand thread so you might have to remove the toilet to get a better purchase on the packing nut. It is very possible that it was installed with too much torque and therefore cracked the thing.

An old mechanic's trick, instead of a steady pull on the wrench get a grip on it and then bump the wrench with the palm of your hand.

Good luck!
The blind installers may just have cross threaded, hopefully the dealer can sort it out.

So then they want you to buy a new one. I'd be cutting that thing out of there before I did that. Can't hurt anything since it's already broken.
It sure looks removable what with looks like a jam nut. Dunno but I'd try my best to replace it with something.

I am going to separate the bowl from the pedestal today. And at least if nothing else I will be able to see if that piece will come out, thinking maybe there is a jam nut on inside that can't be seen now. It's no good the way it is.

Is that connection supposed to be for a sprayer? I saw a few of those toilets that had that connection on them.
These toilets don't seem to be that expensive. Porcelain ones are a bit more pricey.

@Local 150. How about some of that waterproof epoxy or Flexseal they sell at places like Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.?
Or some rubber tubing that is slightly larger that you could overlap both the fitting and the supply line?
I realize there is constant pressure but not the highest and since the part is ruined already might be worth a try on a cheap fix before you replace the toilet. It’s not like anyone will see it because it is hidden behind the toilet.
Just a few thoughts anyway.
Good luck.

Toilet
Took toilet apart, ,, separated base from actual toilet,, that piece is part of toilet, it isn't listed in parts catalog, so yep you guessed it,, went and got a new toilet , it's in and working and no leaks,, spent way more than I wanted but seems everything I do costs more than I expect. Thought it would be a pretty simple fix originally. Thanks to those of you who gave me suggestions and tried to help.
