Thumbs down Tailgate Assist Springs

One of the assist springs broke on the bottom of the garage taligate on my Voltage V3200. First dealer called waited 3+ weeks called him back and asked if he knew anything about the order and he said he had been to busy to order it! Second and third dealers called they never returned my call after 2 weeks. Fourth dealer called today and they said they will get back with me. I guess we'll see about that one. What wonderful service. In cases 2 & 3 even if it is a manufacturer issue they should get back with you and tell you something.

Now for the question. Does anyone know what manufacturer makes these springs or a trailer dealer who might have them? I would have to think they are standard on many trailers?

Fine examples of customer service. I hope you give them lots of free advertising, all bad of course.

Good to know. I've noticed the plastic spacers, looks like pvc their using between springs as bushings are wearing out fast too. Same supplier you think?

Gonervn, let us know how the replacement goes please thanks.
