Storage Compartment Lock Latch

I'm looking for the metal latch piece for the front storage compartment and can't find them anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't find anyone who even knows the name for that little metal piece!

You can probably find it under 'striker plate' for RV storage doors.

Thanks, I've tried that and haven't found anything. It's like a mystery part!

We lost one on our front right storage compartment door so the lock won't work and the door won't stay closed. That's a pic of the one on the left side. That piece just sits on top of the inside grooves of the door.

Looks like this is a part that never fails. The slam latches that do show a striker are a piece of angle. Bet you could pick one up easy from an RV salvage yard.

Give them a call, maybe they have the measurements on hand.
