Just got back from Kentucky. Stayed 3 days at Kentucky Horse Park, really nice park, then 5 days at Cave Country RV campground, also a really nice place. Visited a few caves in the area, but stayed away from the Mammoth Cave due to the amount of people, no place to park, and places that should have been for RV's were taken up by cars, so some people with trailers wound up taking up spaces for cars. Made two circuits around the parking area, and gave up.
Saturday it was 93*, we went to the cave that Jesse James slept in, and the moment he opened the door to the entrance the air temp dropped 20+ degrees, there was a blast of 50* air pouring out at high volume. Man, that was great, I want to live in a cave now.

It's on our list, along with Devils Tower and a few others, just could not swing a two weeker this year due to job schedules and the wife getting a new job. I was lucky to get the one I got.

That's a nice looking campsite, what bike is that?

Yeah, this has been my summer home, and already reserved again for next summer. I like it here in Cody... sorta fell in love with it the first time I was here 5 years ago, and this is my 2nd full summer here. Plenty to see, great riding, moderate temps, and no humidity. Of course, I’ll be leaving here in about 5 weeks... taking my time as I make my way south to Arizona for the winter.
The bike is a 2017 BMW R1200GS Rallye. After predominantly riding Goldwings for the past 15 years, it’s a bit of a change. But the upside is no chrome to constantly polish out here in full time RV life.

Ocracoke
After getting on the ferry, we discovered Ocracoke campground is fantastic and I think we got one of the best sites...shaded and private with trees, but very close to the beach path. It even came with a pet crab!
This is one of the best beaches so far. Private, clean sand and water, good waves and a great temperature. The little town was a surprise since I thought it would be more remote. Nice little tourist town at the ferry landing before you head north for peace, quiet, beaches and bourbon (that you packed with you-NC has those “state stores” with a outrageous prices and limited selections).

Please find a way to post pictures in the correct orientation, half of the pics posted on this forum are sideways, it's mildly infuriating.

I copied the picture, rotated it and reposted it... you get what the site gives you... look at it when you are laying down on the couch on your side or maybe you should try to fix it and let us know how you did it and please don't discourage folks from posting pictures.

1- sign up on Imgur.com, it's free.
2- upload pic
3- It gives you 6 linking options, hit the copy button next to
BBcode(message boards and forums) then paste it into the post. It really doesn't get much easier than that. You can also do some basic editing, cropping and rotating if necessary. I've never had to rotate a single pic from there.
This is not to discourage people, but this is becoming a problem that makes the forum look bad. It's also easily fixable.

The issue is the phruit phones. The only way around the pictures posting sideways is to save them, change one dimension and save them with a different file name. Then it will post correctly. This has been going on with the various forums since the beginning.
I too prefer pictures oriented the correct way, but gave up on expecting it a long time ago.

Please keep posting the pictures, oriented or not. If they don't like it, they can fix it, as they said.
