Slide motor location

I was wondering if anyone knew the location of the motor for the slide of a kodiak 255bhsl. I'm not even sure if it's inside or outside. The exterior has an enclosed underbelly. I'm assuming you would need to access the motor to manually open or close the slide? I thought it would be a good idea to figure that out at home first rather than at the campsite.
