Unhappy Side Molding

I think I saw this before, but due to the heat, my Black side Plastic molding is bending up from the heat, anyone have a plan to get it to stay put?

Well...let's see...can find the molding, can find the end caps...then what? Put black anodized screws about every six inches????

Dealer tried to get ours to stay on by running a bead of clear silicone along the top edge. That oughta be fun to get off!!

Jeez!!!

That looks like the S Drive is getting pressure from the bottom panel. Is this a plastic, rubber, or metal? On my unit it is metal (white). If it is plastic I could not tell you how to shrink it into place.

Yea, its Plastic, and because it gets hot here is the summer, and cold in the winter, I may take it off and just paint the metal and screws Black, I will be taking mind in for repairs Sept. 10, for a bad Jack, I will let you know what they say about the molding

Mike: I'm home from Yellowstone, and since I have a date with the Dealer for repairs in Sept. I started looking at what ever I needed to repair...My wife said I take up to much room, when I'm on the computer, with printer etc. So I removed the small 2 seat couch and placed a computer table there....

I agree with Cale. Be interest also to know if they use the same rail. I was thinking of just removing the rail & use the stick on molding. That's what I have on my Teton. Lasted for over ten years with no problem.

Cale and Mike, I took my RV in for my leaking Jack and asked them about the Molding, My Dealer looked at it, and then checked with the Company and they came back with replacement of all of the molding from Plastic to Rubber, if they were going to just replace the same molding, I was just going to paint all the metal Black, and not replace the molding. So I will let you know how it looks and find out where they got the molding, if it looks ok

Thanks Rich. I'll be interested in how they get a rubber molding on that rail.
