Just so you know... you don't have to rely on "RV furniture" only. You can, find & use some items from a regular home furniture store... especially modular-type items.
The thing you have to consider when looking at your options are... the dimensions. Whatever you get must not have any single component wider than the width of your entry door(s) to the room in question... and should not be deeper (front-to-rear) than the slide out itself.
This is why most household sofas won't work... but, as an option to a sofa, you may wish to consider a pair of recliners with a small table in between, or even a reclining loveseat.
I've done this in my own rig. In fact, I've changed the furniture 3 times now.
Most recliners separate into 2 pieces... the base & the back... and so long as neither piece has all of its dimensions greater than the width of your door, you can install it into your space.
One final note: if considering this type of option, most household recliners aren't wall-huggers. So when doing your depth measurements, make sure you account for space required between the recliner & the wall of the slide out.
