Polishing our Camper

Ok you guys are always way better than google. What does everyone recommend for waxing our camper. We want to get a good coat on the front end.

Depends on age. New-1 year, a good cleaning wax from Meguiars. Older than a year, then a two step cleaning and waxing. Collinite makes a fiberglass boat cleaner and wax product that a lot of people rave about. I used it myself on a metal body trailer and while it looked good, didn't last very long.

The Meguiars works on both metal and fiberglass and the plastic shells of noses.

You want the surface clean so a good cleaner wax, or claybar to start with. Should be silk smooth meaning a silk cloth dragged on the surface doesn't catch on anything. Follow that up with a good wax, and as a final step for long lasting protection, any kind of spray on SiLo, AKA Ceramic spray, or soap like Armor All Ceramic and rinsed off with a power wash will put a shine on and leave it feeling clean for quite some time.

I have an Arctic Wolf with fiberglass sides and plastic nose that I got new. Used collinite with a power buffer followed by Meguairs the first year, and in 21 and 22 all I did was wash it once or twice with Armor all ceramic soap, making sure I did not let it dry and rinsed it well. Still silk smooth and beading as if I just waxed it.

It's a LOT of work, but you only have to do it once, and a regular wash after that for upkeep.
