Norcold Refrig Heating Element

So I replaced my AC heating element and noticed there is a slot for a second heater and terminals on the board for another one.

So I'm wondering if I can add a second element and would that make it cool faster.

My guess is that it wouldn't be for 120 VAC heater, but a 12 VDC one. That option was popular in years past, but found to wear down batteries when people forgot to take them off of battery power. It was considered the way to go while on the road. Now the most popular (but often argued) option is to leave the propane on.

I think the only thing a second element would do is heat the chemicals quicker so they would perk sooner. After the chems start perking and making their way throughout the circuit nothing more can be accomplished. The chems remove the heat from the interior so making the chems hotter or travel faster won't increase the cool down time, might even impede the cooling process itself.
