Unfortunately, they don't provide what we normally think of as owner's manuals for these things... at least, not one like you'd find for your car or truck. And even when there are, they are very generic... covering everything from pop-ups to motorhomes. Not very helpful for someone in your situation.

Instead, what you can find are item-specific manuals for the various components in a unit... such as the stove, furnace, AC, refrigerator, etc. Once you find the model number of the component, you can find the manual.

If the poles look like some you have, it could be your dad had spares.

Not sure without seeing them but usually you have 2 poles or supports that go on opposites corners of the camper as backups to hold the roof in case the support rails fail.

Here is a Dutchmen manual for Fold-Down Camping Trailers

Get us a couple of pictures of the poles and the camper set up and maybe we can help you figure it out. Several of us on here had popups at some point in our lives.

I suspect those poles go beneath the beds on the exterior of the trailer

On my Coleman Taos PopUp, There was a pole that went from the center of the bed end poles to a place in the roof on the inside to give strength & rigidity to the fabric bunk ends.

Like wahoonc suggested, get us some pictures. I'm a former PUP owner too.
