Keep furnace fan on

We often keep the AC fan on low in the summer instead of auto to help drown out noises. Is it possible to do the same with the furnace and not have the AC fan on? If I set the Heat to 70 degrees, and put the fan on Low, the fan on the AC is the one that runs instead of the blower on the furnace. I'm sure the thermostat is simple and prolly can't control the blower on the furnace separately but I thought I would ask anyway.

furnace fan

It seems like you should be able to keep the furnace fan on, but that is usually not the case in an RV. Mainly because the furnace fan is integrated with the burner exhaust fan, which is integrated into the furnace controller.

However, both the furnace and the AC in an RV are re-circulating units. That means they don't draw in outside air. So leaving the AC fan on while running the furnace gives you almost the same circulation that just the furnace fan does.

Of course, you need an inverter to run the AC fan. It requires 120VAC to run. But that is a horse of a different color.
