Goodyear G614 tires... $279/tire

Hey guys... I've got no stake in this, but wanted to pass on that Simpletire.com is now selling Goodyear G614 tires for the lowest I've ever seen at $278.99 per tire.

By comparison, I paid $314/tire when I ordered from them 18 months ago... and most retail shops want over $350/tire + tax.

Don't think you're gonna find them anywhere for less... and any Walmart or tire shop will mount them for you for around $10-$15 per tire.

Here's the link...

I had these on my forest river xlr that scaled at just over 18,000lbs and got 60,000+ miles out of them and are still on it now. Just bought a voltage 3950 last week and was curious if anyone uses the stock wheels or buys new wheels to accomodate the higher psi of these tires. Great price find! I got them for 300 each in 2012 from a buddy who is a dealer and was giving them to me at his cost.

You should be able to use your wheels... I'm pretty sure all of us who have changed have found the wheels stamped for the pressure. You will need better valve stems though.

The price seems to bounce around. It was over $300 when I checked last night, now it's at $289. Still not a bad deal.

I replaced my tries with the G614s. I'm thinking of putting one on the spare, don't want to rely on the China bomb that came, plus, it's a slightly different size than the G614. Has anyone put these on the steel rim spare at 100 PSI? I know I'll need metal valve stems.

Paul, that's how I knew the price. Finally got around to ordering one for my spare. It arrived yesterday, but I'm still waiting on my valve stems (I wanted some extras). As soon as they arrive, I'll be taking my spare in for the remount. I'll let you know.
