Thanks Snakebitten. I sure hope so. My husband is very comfortable dealing with this Irish girl's rants on the injustices of the world. Haha He always reminds me that we're the kind of people that take "The Scenic Route." The long and winding road. No Easy Street for us!

You bring up a great point...towing capacities. Very confusing stuff. That was the main reason we bought so small. If I remember correctly, our Toyota Tundra was around 7800 towing capacity. The dry weight of the Coleman was around 3500. So far it has been fantastic pulling. We haven't attempted mountains tho.

So confusing, but the real point is these crappy built Ultra Lite campers. I think this contributes to the boom in the RV industry where even a small SUV is supposed to be able to pull a camper. Unfortunately, the quality is not there in order to make them lighter, like staples instead of screws, cheaper materials, etc. We're stuck in the small Ultra Lite category. We just weren't prepared for what that entailed. It's definitely a buyer beware situation if purchasing an Ultra Lite.

You shouldn't have too much trouble with the repairs and upgrades, just trying to figure out what was screwed up and how it really should be will take up most of your time.

I just got done re-plumbing the bathroom at our house, I swear the original plumbing was done by the 3 stooges, and they each were using a different sized pipe!

None of this stuff is rocket science, it is pretty straight forward, which makes it doubly sad that they can't get it right to begin with at the factory.

Update

Hi everyone!
I just had to update you with the latest! Sit down and don't fall out of your chair. LOL We dropped off our camper at the end of October for our long, long, list of warranty repairs. CW called and said Keystone was offering $2500 off for the delamination or a new build from the factory!!! So of course, we went for the new build from the factory. So shocked. Our service guy said it's the first one he's done so to be patient while we go thru the process. Still wondering if this is too good to be true? So happy, but way too early for the happy dance.

WOW, Congratulations! That is the first time I have heard that Keystone approved a warranty repair of that size. Usually the folks on the phone from keystone are very nice but not very knowledgeable.

To people monitoring this check everything before you buy the trailer make sure who you're going to get taken care of and by. I still love the trailer just note that everythingif you call them seems to take care of it just my simple view

Sorry...I guess I never updated this post!! No happy dance here. Our delam camper was never replaced. CW and Keystone used each other to play the blame game and no one took responsibility. In the end, CW is the responsible party since they sold us the camper. After 6 months of agony, and the majority of that spent w/o a camper because it was always in the service dept, we took the loss and decided to trade. No happy ending here.

Ah, the ole adage 'if it's too good to be true...........'

Bummer for you all around and normal for the RV industry and its major failings.
