Question Duratain coating experience??

Hi Everyone,

We are picking up our new Voltage 3800 with full body paint in a week. The dealer has suggested a Duratain protective coating / warranty. Has anyone had experience with this company? Is it worth the $2800 investment? Any feedback is appreciated.

We really appreciate the feedback we have received from this forum. Thank you!

In my humble opinion...no it is not worth it....why pay for something you are already paying for.
If you want it ...ask them to throw the cost of the protective coating in for free on the deal or your walk away ...remember it's your hard earn money.
Keep the $2800 and buy your partner something nice.....like an all inclusive trip to someplace warm or warmer.

Just my humble opinion

I agree with Coops. Overpriced and if you poke around you will find it gets bad reviews all over the place.

If you really want an aftermarket sealant, spend (I'm guessing) around $250 on Nano Diamond Shield. At $25 a can, I am just guessing that it would take about 10 cans. I have used this on my truck and it is amazing. Brilliant shine for months and it actually keeps the truck cleaner (dirt has a hard time sticking).
