Detailed my trailer's exterior

In case you have nothing else to do. My Voltage 3600 toyhauler has been suffering the AZ sun for all six years of its life and for the past two days I've been restoring the shine to the exterior. I tried a new to me product, Meguier's Supreme Shine, which cleans, shines, and UV protects.

I sprayed it on and wiped it around with a microfiber cloth and then finished by wiping with a dry microfiber cloth. The surface was dull to begin with and shined like new afterwards. It took a lot of elbow grease but it's sure worth it to me. I finished off by shining up the tires with a tire dressing. Trailer now looks very close to new.

Thanks for the heads up on this product, think I will give it a try. Mine is not anyway near as sun beat as yours, keep mine in covered storage when not using.

I considered the buffer but with a rag it was working fine.

Kodiak Exterior "Stickers"..

My 200 QB exterior was "detailed" by a company who did a poor job.

During the buffing most of the stickers, labels came off.

I need to find a company that sells replacement labels.

Labels like "City Water Hook up"

Cable TV etc.

Any one here know of a seller ?

Thanks Steve....

Yea, I do not look forward to detailing my exterior...I just pressure washed it and the black streaks of hell are already appearing!!!
This, to me...is the worst part of RV ownership, of course that is after putting up with shoddy manufacturing/quality control and then shoddy/shady (Camping World) Dealers!
I think I have finally gotten my initial issues all resolved and now have even started with minor mods.
Georgia is just Arizona with Humidity..LOLOLOLOL

I don't get the "black streak" thing even though i've seen it a thousand times on other campers. I've been washing my roof 3-4 times a year for 6 years and have never had one black streak

Ours is “TWO” months old off the Dealers lot with a sparkling white rubber roof and they are starting to appear!
We have had them on EVERY RV we have owned no matter the roof or roof maintenance!
I wish I had not ever had that problem, that is why it grates in me so getting rid of them and keeping the exterior SPOTLESS WHITE! (Hey, I am an old Jarhead, we like things CLEAN!)

Don’t waste time with trekwood. They won’t sell to regular folks, you have to be a dealer to purchase from site. You can submit inquiries and they won’t tell you until you call

You can bring back factory finish on fiberglass by using meguires ultimate compound. It’s a workout, but it works. My TT is a 2012 and I buffed the exterior last year. Still looks great after looking pretty awful before.
