Best RV video of what not to do.

If you have RVed for any time like we have you know of all kinds of things not to do.
I think one of the best video's if you haven't seen it is RV with Robin Williams. Those of us that have RVed for some time can relate to some things in this very funny dvd.
I've watched it quite a few times & the dumping the sewer tank still cracks me up. I haven't had anything that bad happen but I sure can relate.
So if or if you haven't seen it it's a great funny dvd. Us RVer's will enjoy it more than those that have never RVed.

Well I can sure relate to the sewer tank dumping to a degree. Had the black tank valve fail to shut all the way once so you know what happened when I pulled the cap off to connect the hose. Only thing that saved me was I had the other end down into the drain. Still wasn't as funny as in the video.
Biggest thing I can relate to is all the great times we had with our kids growing up & RVing together. Just like I remember as a kid RVing with my folks.

If you ever get to Amarillo, the actual Gornicke Flexible Clipper is in the RV museum ( at a dealer) on display, with the RV video playing.

We love RV, but our favorite RV movie is "The Long, Long, Trailer," with Lucille Ball and Dezi Arnez (before I Love Lucy). We watched it tonight, the movie is 60 years old, but just as timely, just as funny, and just as insightful as today's RV'ing world.

After reading your post we could not resist. We rented it on VuDu for $2.99 and streamed it. We loved it. We both laughed and cried so much. Now I'm downloading a copy with PlayLater so we can watch it again someday.

What amazes me is that even though this is so old, the lessons are right out of today's Trailer Life!
Thanks to cell phones, at least we don't have the M*A*S*H-type of PA announcements at the RV parks and campgrounds anymore!

Thanks guys, I just ordered that movie off ebay. Hopefully it'll be in before we leave this weekend. Sounds like a good rainy day movie….

Hahaha, that reminded me of the rainy day scene. The first time I saw the movie had to be just about the time it was released, just saw it a couple of months back TCM.
