Is the awning fabric equal distance from each end of the tube? Might need a little adjustment one direction or the other

Does anybody know how to secure the awning led lighting strip? I have a Voltage 3305 and the lighting strip is pulling away from the awning fabric. The dealer told me that I would have to replace the awnings since the led strip is sewn into it.

Awningis

Is there a motor on each end of the awning tube ? Both ends of tube look the same is why I am wondering gm. If it has 2 could it be that 1 isn't working ? Thanks

If yours is a carefree like mine, only one end will have the motor. Not in the tube but in the end of the arm itself. Both of mine have motor in the front arm. Look closely at the "joints" of the arm and you will see the wire. It gets tucked into a slot that runs the length of the inside of each section of the arm

The fabric on the rail side of the trailer has shifted one way or the other is the reason it is not rolling up square with the roller tube, if it is rolling up slightly left for right, first let awning all the way out, then slide the fabric in the rail the direction you need to line the awning arms up, there should be a screw through the slide rail on the trailer holding it in place, if not install one......

Same issue with mine. I was thinking maybe a clear epoxy might hold it but could be a messy job. Mine started to pull away a while ago but I feel like it is not getting worse so I think I am going to leave it. My 3305 is about 3 years old by date of manufacture and it lives outside in SoCal so I am pretty sure it is the sun destroying the adhesive. My front cap LED’s started to peel and I was able to use clear epoxy and put some painters tape across it to hold it down which I then removed but that was a hard surface. Awning will be trickier.

Imagine a dealer telling you the only repair is to replace something with a new one. They are basically glorified parts changers now. Nobody wants to actually fix anything—just replace it with a new part.

Pretty sure you are correct. I also felt I needed to move the awning over a bit, before rolling it up but wasn't sure how to do that. Now I know,,,, thanks a million

Also check the rain dump struts. Each arm should have one. If one has lost it's gas, it can let one side close faster than the other causing it to shift the fabric.
