2013 Voltage damaged axle seals

After taking our first trip to Montana found out our seals had blown out on the back axle looks like they were put in with a hammer and dented futher checking found that all the seals were dented on other axle's also. All the axle's were manufactured on 8/27/12. Been sitting here for 3 weeks waiting for a ok from warranty department at Dutchmen just curious if anyone else has had this problem? This has been a great site to share info with other RV'ers Thanks for All the Help
Signed

thats a mess. what made you open you open the drum to inspect the brakes??

By any chance did you grease your axles prior to discovery of the mess??

Definitely and bad spot on that lower picture. Looks like they used a seal driver that was too small or an inappropriate tool to set the seals.

Greasing with a power tool won't do damage to the metal surface of the seal, that'll usually blow the seal itself by blowing the tension spring out of it.

Someone needs to be strung up for that crappy work!

I have just found the same thing on my 2013 Voltage. Asked the local dealer to check the brakes and he found bad seals on all 6 axles. Need to replace the shoes and drums on all six. Plan to call Dutchman f tomorrow.

Yes, had the same problem on our 2013 Voltage V 3105. Ended up having my local dealer replace all the seals, new brake shoes. Cleaned the drums. Also had problems with 2 brake lines within the drums getting severd. Seems they forgot to put the wire retention clip that holds the wires out of harm.

Looks like someone used my sixteen pound sledge hammer to install the seals. That's what happens when they hire a kid right out of high school and don't train them.

Somehow it dosen't surprise me any more when I see crap like that.
