2008 dutchmen 36fk?? anyone got one?

I just brought home a new to me 2008 Dutchmen 36fk camper. Everything is in great shape as far as I can tell. My question is : has anyone had or have one of these campers and is there anything for me to watch for? It's a big camper with only 1 roof ducted A/C. will it keep camper cool? Are the slides any kind of a problem area? Any maintenance things I should do?
Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Happy Camping!

Don't have or ever had that model. Can tell you that one A/C for any brand of 36' RV wouldn't be enough to keep it cool. Once the outside temp starts getting up there you will notice it. Good thing is you don't live where it gets hot. Yes you have humidity but RV out here in the desert & you will know what I'm talking about.
Last week it was 119 out here in the desert by Palm Springs.

Thanks Mike

You are right so far, out here in southern north Carolina and down at Myrtle Beach when we are able to camp its not that hot. So far 1 A/C has done great, slowly but surely with help of a couple of fans sitting around circulating air. I was also just lookin for anyone with same or close to TT so they could tell me of things to watch for or keep check on.
Once again thanks for the repy.

It's so rare your thread was the 3rd google hit.

Though you may not find anything specific to your model here, you can find a lot of information on most anything you need. Read up and ask questions. In time, you know more then you ever thought you would.
My Google search listed your thread first!

thanks for the replies

Still looking around. must not have been many of this model camper. So far so good with it. I guess no news is good news because so far I have had no problems with it! Just checking with these fellow campers to see if anyone had any ideas of problem areas to look for. Take care and enjoy!
